GRIZZLY BASIN FLY FISHING ADVENTURES

Home to one of British Columbia’s best kept fly fishing secrets!  The Bull River.  This untouched fly fishing mecca is a paradise for anyone who loves beautiful crystal clear glacial water, deep green pools, and breath taking scenery.  If thats not enough the Fly Fishing is extraordinary.  We have some of the best Western Slope Cutthroat Trout fishing anywhere.

At Grizzly Basin Fly Fishing Adventures we offer Guided float trips, walk and wade trips and “on the river”accommodations.  Our camp is located at the bottom end of our “lower stretch” float.  No time is wasted in travel.   If a full day floating down the river isn’t enough, catching the evening hatch wading the river in front of camp is a perfect way to end a great day.

The Bull River is located in the South East corner of British Columbia in the East Kootaney region, an area becoming very well known as one of the premier Fly Fishing destinations in North America.

The camp consists of  3 cabins on the river and log dining hall.  It is rustic elegance at its finest.  Located at 27.5 km on the Bull River forest service road (less than 15km off the paved road).  It is closer than you think.  45 minutes from Cranbrook International Airport and less than 4 hours from Calgary Alberta. You can drive here or talk to us about picking you up.

At Grizzly Basin Fly Fishing Adventures we are all about the experience.  We have a select group of professional fishing guides and generally cater to groups no larger than 4-6 fisherman.

We are a family run business and are set up to accommodate anglers as well as their families.  Ask about our other activities.  We would love to share your next fishing adventure.

WELCOME TO GRIZZLY BASIN Fly fishing ADVENTURES

"The solution to any problem -- work, love, money, whatever -- is to go fishing, and the worse the problem, the longer the trip should be." --John Gierach

"In these sad and ominous days of mad fortune chasing, every patriotic, thoughtful citizen, whether he fishes or not, should lament that we have not among our countrymen more fishermen."  Grover Cleveland

"If one really loves nature, one can find beauty everywhere." --Vincent Van Gogh

"They say you forget your troubles on a trout stream, but that's not quite it.  What happens is that you begin to see where your troubles fit into the grand scheme of things, and suddenly they're just not such a big deal anymore." John Gierach
